This is a shimpaku juniper. It is one of the most desirable of the junipers because of its unique growing habit.It tends to meander in height and has soft textured needle like foliage. Easy care tree. Although an outdoor type tree, many are successful growing in a sunny window. These trees are slow growing and only require pinching off the needles where you do not want further growth. 2 trees were shown to show the consistency of their appearance as they are similar but not all alike. Every one is very good looking. Most are single trunk and the pencil was used for size reference. Planted in a 6" chinese pot.
