These are 8" japanese blackened fine steel, bonsai cutting shears or heavy scissors. These are bonsai heavy work scissors, mainly used when potting/repotting and trimming up branches and general heavier cutting action on your tree. They will cut up to 1/4" branches and heavier depending on the hardness of the wood.You can use these for all purpose trimming and general cutting. Excellent leverage in the handles. Very sharp from the japanese tool factory.
