Bonsai Branch and Pot Saw

These are 2 kinds of bonsai saws that function entirely different than one another. The first saw is a folding and locking blade, branch saw. Very fine cutting. It has about 15 teeth per inch is what is referered to as a double cut saw. The size is 6 3/4" closed and 11 5/8" opened. Press the locking mechanism to fold close again. Sized right for your tool kit. It has the teeth ground to super sharp edges and cuts very fast on the pull or back stroke. The teeth are so fine, you can bend them if not careful. This is considered one of the finest branch saws you can buy. Will cut branches up to about 1" by first cutting into the branch from the underside and then cutting mainly from the top side. The cut is finally finished off with a knob cutter tool to bring in close to the main trunk or limb. The second high carbon steel double riveted fixed blade saw is also a pull stroke saw. It is used for sawing around inside the rim of your bonsai pot to cut loose the perimeter growing bonsai roots, so you can remove the bonsai for repotting. Hence the term pot saw. The size is 10" overall. A very necessary tool for just about any pot. Indispensable tool.
