This is a Brazilian Raintree. These are well known for their bonsai use. But not always available. We have these from time to time. This is an indoor tropical bonsai. These are also known to be a little hardier further up North than other tropicals. This is the tree that closes its leaves at night or when it rains. It grows naturally in a contortum shape. Stiff in the branches but responding a little to wiring. Like a lot of water and sunlight. Feed as heavy as you like and will make lots of growth. Use a 10 inch drip tray for this tree.
