This is a Green Island Ficus Bonsai Tree in a round pot. These are one of the easiest kind of ficus to take care of. They are naturally tropical, but sturdy in more northerly environements, due to their needing a little less light than most ficus. This is an indoor type bonsai, needing to be brought indoors when the temps get down to 45 degrees. These are an under canopy shrubby type ficus. This is a very nice specimen. It has a caliper at the soil of about 1 1/2 inches and has a height of 12 1/2 inches above the pots edge. The pot is round with a diameter of 9 inches and is 4 inches tall. The whole bonsai is 16 1/2 inches tall. You could use a 12 inch oval or a 13 inch drip tray for this one.
