This is a Chinese imported pepper tree Bonsai. I have wired it about 30 days ago and put a hard prune on it. It is planted in an 8 inch oval green brown pot. The tree stands 13 inches tall and has about a 3/4 inch trunk. I have read somewhere that the Chinese cook with the leaves from this tree. The leaves are very aromatic, but the pepper is not that hot in the taste in the leaves. Normally we would send out growing instructions on our tropical trees, but do not have much information. They tend to be quite durable in the winter around here, better that say a tropical olive. You can probably find more information on this trees maintenance around on the net. This tree has a nice full shape all around. This tree in the picture is the one that will be shipped. Note! This tree sold within 24 hours of it being posted.
