This is a Japanese Cedar Bonsai Tree. It is a Cryptomeria /Black Dragon.  This is an outdoor bonsai and you would treat it like a Pro Nana Juniper. It likes a regular amount of water. If the roots dry out, they tend to die quickly. This tree has very dark green foliage and makes little pine looking cones and has some on it right now. You control growth by pinching off the tips. This tree could use more syling by branch removal and wiring. I have only clip pruned it to shape. The bonsai is 18 inches above the soil line and the brown unglazed pot is 3 x 6 x 8 in size. Very nice tree to own. Use a 10 inch drip tray for this one
