A very hardy, beautiful, japanese true flowering quince bonsai "Utamari". This puts out an apple like blossom that has the deepest orangy red color each spring and fall. This one put out about 30 flowers this year. I fertilize these with our blooming type fertilizer, found elsewhere. This fertilizer helps set out more blooms and healthier blooms that don't fall off when you touch them. This type will flower in the spring and fall and sometimes continuously as you prune back the fast apecal growth. I have worked on this one for 3 years now. I have others coming along to replace this one when this one sells. Each is unique in shape. Potted in a deep premium chinese grade ovoid pot that is 3 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 8" long. The pot is glazed in a very nice cordovan brown. The tree is 11" wide and 9" deep front to back. Height above the soil is 9 1/2". Very nice shohin size tree. Uses a 10" drip tray.
