This is a large red banded oval purple clay pot. It is semi glazed, red on the band only and is carved with chinese characters on one face and a bird sitting on branches on the other. It is chinese and is a very good utility pot for displaying many kinds of bonsai in. This pot is offered in 2 sizes here. The picture is of the bigger one. The dimensions of the bigger is 4 1/8 x 13 1/2 x 16 1/2 and the smaller is 3 1/4 x 11 1/4 x 14 and this is overall sizes. We select for very close to level and occassionally these have a very small inside lip chip and will ship out. However, we will not ship out any with outside lip chipping.
