Warranties and Returns
Our current open and simple policy on returns: All trees, whether starters, bonsai, or kit trees are all returnable for a "100% refund" of your "original purchase amount" less any shipping and handling to and from our address. You will have 2 business days (48 hours, or a restocking fee of 15% will apply) to return live material (trees) and live material (trees) cannot be altered in any way, such as making the tree kit into a bonsai, and then wanting to send it back. Our short time constraints are set for trees on purpose, so that we can get them back alive and renurse them to health. Timing is critical on tree returns and we hope for cooperation. Warranty is also void if you the buyer make shipping selections that are not prudent to the health of the tree. Such as ups ground ship in the dead of winter or middle of summer, instead of priority mailship. You the buyer must be prudent in your ship selection and or email for consultation on your choice.
All hard goods are also returnable "unused" for a full "100% refund" of "original purchase amount" less all shipping and handling costs within 5 business days of receiving package. All broken items claims are always made with the shipper. You will have to make contact with them for the paperwork and they will send the paper work to us for verification and authorization. A replacement will not be shipped out until the shippers verification has taken place. Again we will refund on your order when you send back the item(s)in your order by the same shipping method sent. We naturally prefer to work out any disputes as long as they are fair and acceptable to both parties, otherwise a return will get a refund. Orders can be partially refunded also, your choice. Our warranty and returns standards are set for mutual trust and respect for one another in the transaction and Bonsai-Mart.com living up to higher standards that we set forth, for conducting bonsai business without argument. *******************************************************************************************************************
If you wish to make a return of any kind, please supply us with the order number, and any other information to best describe the problem and what you would like to have happen as a solution. If we can reach your solution idea, we will. If we cannot, then the warranty and returns policy will apply partially and or in sum total.
